I’m Tahir, a Berlin-based IT professional who believes better digital experiences begin with understanding the problem, not just choosing another tool.

From curiosity to a career in technology

My professional story began in Pakistan, where I studied Information Technology and started building websites and applications. I later moved to Germany and completed a master’s degree at Technische Universität Berlin in Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship & Sustainability.

Across more than ten years in IT, I have worked on software development, requirements engineering, business analysis and product-related work. My experience includes PwC Deutschland, ICS GmbH, MORESOPHY and other German technology companies. Each role taught me to look at digital systems from a different angle.

Why I now work with SEO and websites

Writing code taught me how websites work. Requirements engineering taught me to ask better questions. Product work taught me to focus on outcomes rather than features. Today, I bring those lessons together in SEO, WordPress web design and AI search optimization.

For a business owner, a website should be understandable, reliable, easy to maintain and capable of supporting real enquiries. That sounds simple, but it requires both technical attention and a clear view of the customer journey.

Experience that informs my approach

• Software engineering: building and maintaining web software, including experience at PwC Deutschland.
• Requirements engineering: analysing complex systems, working with stakeholders and translating needs into useful specifications at ICS GmbH.
• Product and business analysis: prioritising work, communicating with different teams and thinking about user outcomes.
• SEO consulting: reviewing Search Console data, content structure, indexing, internal links and technical problems for service-focused websites.

Education & professional learning

I hold a degree in Information Technology and a master’s degree from TU Berlin. My professional learning includes IREB CPRE (Requirements Engineering), Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) and Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I). These qualifications support my structured approach, but I judge success by the usefulness of the work delivered.

How I like to work

I prefer plain language, clear deliverables and realistic expectations. First we clarify the business problem. Then we look at evidence. After that we decide what is worth fixing and what can wait. I don’t promise first-page rankings or guaranteed enquiries.

Beyond work, I enjoy exploring Berlin, technology, learning languages and writing about the experiences that shaped my journey. Some of those stories will appear in my Journal.
